The Avante SMART-TRAKKER™ real-time locating and monitoring software application package can be used to manage medical and other consumable inventories.
Special portals and “SMART-SHELVES” using antenna arrays can be constructed to monitor medications, blood, and plasma supplies in real time.
The value of this system lies in its low cost means to achieve real time locating capability using the AVANTE patent-pending RFID technology. It’s based on RFID cyclic power zoning (using a burst of different levels of power signals) and a grid, or net topology, of relay readers or the “focused field” antenna arrays. It also incorporates the use of on-tag patent-pending “relational check code” and relaying protocol that provides both open and closed applications with unparalleled data integrity and system security.
Each of the active ZONER™ tags runs on a replaceable battery pack, has a typical life of 3-6 years, and is less than 2”x2.5” and less than 28 grams. The RELAYER™ reader is equipped with re-chargeable batteries and runs on AC power during normal operations. The rechargeable battery acts similar to an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) whenever there is a power failure.
